
As the Founder of Contour Capital, David leads the firm’s investment strategy, capital formation, and development execution across multifamily and retail assets. The company is focused on acquiring and developing value-add and ground-up projects in high-growth markets, with an emphasis on disciplined underwriting, strategic capital placement, and long-term wealth creation for investors.
With over a decade of experience in the technology sector prior to launching Contour Capital, David developed a strong foundation in systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency. Following a wave of tech layoffs, he transitioned full-time into real estate development and capital raising, applying a structured, execution-oriented approach to sourcing, underwriting, and structuring investments.
David is an Army Veteran whose military background instilled the leadership, resilience, and accountability that now underpin his investment philosophy. He is passionate about building strong investor relationships grounded in transparency and long-term alignment.
Outside of work, David is an avid runner with a goal to run the World Marathon Majors, enjoys hosting events for friends and family, and spending time boating on Lake Norman.
Alisa Baker invests in residential and commercial real estate, with a focus on value-add multifamily syndication and development. As a General Partner, she concentrates on identifying opportunities, structuring strategic partnerships, and executing business plans designed to drive long-term performance and durable value creation.
She is currently involved in multiple land development initiatives, including a planned multifamily community and a multi-pad retail development. Alisa also holds multi-state real estate licenses, enabling streamlined execution and increased agility across markets.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Alisa worked as an ICU Registered Nurse, where she developed strong analytical decision-making skills, the ability to remain composed under pressure, and a deep appreciation for high-trust collaboration. A cancer diagnosis and recovery during the 2020 pandemic became a defining turning point in her journey, reinforcing her commitment to building long-term value through real assets and strategic partnerships.


Paul Montelongo is a life-long investor, entrepreneur, and business owner. Paul has built, owned, and operated eight multi-million-dollar businesses in his 40-year career. These companies have generated over $140million in revenue and have employed hundreds of people.
He invests in underperforming specialty properties in emerging markets, i.e., marinas, resort properties, apartment units, events facilities, and self-storage, as well as residential properties.
Currently, Paul has investments and dispositions in more than 1392 units in eight different markets in the country. These units are comprised of multi-family apartments, marina, events, and resort assets.
In addition to his personal investments, Paul works with Real Estate Investors and Real Estate professionals as a mentor to help them balance their life, extract more profit from their deals and create connections with other entrepreneurs.
Paul’s businesses have included high-end construction and remodeling, casualty management, flipping residential properties, sales, and mentoring operations.
Paul has made hundreds of professional speaking appearances at Real Estate and Construction Industry conferences around the country and world, including Canada, New Zealand, and Romania. He has authored three books, hundreds of training videos, and audio programs, more than two hundred trade journal articles for the construction and real estate industry on sales, marketing and project management.
Paul lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife, Letitia and is an active father and grandfather to his family.
Kyle is a native of Cleveland, Mississippi, and has a wealth of experience in tax law, commercial real estate law, and securities compliance. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Delta State University. Then, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College – School of Law, where he clerked for then Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Kitchens. In addition, Kyle participated in the University of Florida – Levin College of Law’s top-ranked Tax Law Program.
Before forming Swafford Law Firm, Kyle worked as an International Tax Consultant II at Deloitte Tax and has several years of experience with the Georgia Department of Revenue and the Internal Revenue Service. Last, Kyle worked at premier Commercial Real Estate law firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
At Swafford Law Firm, Kyle is a corporate and commercial real estate practice group member and represents clients in various matters, including real estate syndication, tax considerations for real estate investors, joint ventures, and commercial lending.
Kyle lives with his wife, Carly, and their sons, Harrison and Bennett. Collectively, they chase around their energetic Blue Merle Australian Shepherd, Sadie.
